Shaynee Roper, DCN, MEd, RD, LDN, FAND 


Current Position: Corporate Dietitian 

In her current position, Roper is responsible for developing and implementing a nutrition program for the home health and hospice company.  Roper has worked as a Dietitian for 30 years with the last 23 of those serving in Clinical and Food Service management.  She has served as an Adjunct Professor for several universities for the last 19 years and is a Servsafe Instructor/Proctor.  In addition, she co-authored the 2019 Standards of Professional Practice for Dietitians.  Roper presently serves as an ACEND Reviewer, the Secretary and CE Administrator for the NCAND, a Delegate to the Academy’s House of Delegates, and previously served as the Chair for the NCBDN.  She anticipates receiving her DCN degree from the University of North Florida in the Spring of 2022.  She received her BS degree in Nutrition, Foods & Dietetics from the University of Missouri, and MEd degree in Physical Education from the University of Houston.
